The objective of this study was to validate the social entrepreneurship scale in university students, enabling the identification of the potential or characteristics of social entrepreneurship in the studied population. The method used consisted of three stages. First, the items were generated, followed by an exhaustive literature review, and then content validation was conducted with the participation of 6 experts. The second stage involved data collection from a population of 580, using non-probabilistic sampling, which resulted in a sample of 493 university students. In the third stage, exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses were performed, revealing a two-dimensional structure of 20 items, with reliability scores for entrepreneurial passion of 0.953 and sustainability of 0.935, and an AVE > 0.5. It was concluded that the obtained values indicate an adequate fit, suggesting that this instrument can be reliably applied in the field of social entrepreneurship.
