The objective of this study was to examine the relationship between entrepreneurial orientation (EO), characterized by innovation, proactivity, risk-taking, autonomy, and competitive aggression, and sustainable performance (SP) in its economic, environmental, and social dimensions. The population consisted of Mexican companies engaged in the production of maguey derivatives; in the absence of an official registry, at least 1,001 economic units were identified as a reference. Non-probabilistic convenience sampling was used, resulting in a sample of 50 companies located in different states of the country. Data collection was carried out in 2025 using a structured questionnaire administered to owners or managers. The instrument included general information about the company and the key respondent, as well as items measuring EO and SP, using a 5-point Likert scale. Statistical analysis was performed using SPSS v23 and the R programming language. The results revealed a positive, weak to moderate relationship between EO and SP. showed correlation, particularly with economic and social performance. Furthermore, economic performance exhibited more significant relationships with EO, notably with innovation and competitive aggressiveness. The findings have important implications for organizations in this sector.
