Abstract

The objective was to determine the empirical relationship between the implementation of the digital notary system and user satisfaction levels at the Hermilio Valdizán National University in 2025. A quantitative, non-experimental, cross-sectional, and descriptive-correlational approach was used. The population consisted of 200 subjects, with a sample of 132 participants selected through stratified sampling. Inclusion criteria included undergraduate and graduate students, as well as faculty. A structured questionnaire was used, comprising two variables (Implementation of the Digital Notary System and User Satisfaction Level), four dimensions (Accessibility and Usability, Legal Security and Technological Trust, Process Satisfaction, and Outcome Satisfaction), and 14 items. The findings revealed a very strong positive correlation (Spearman's rho = 0.864, p = 0.000) between the implementation of the digital notary system and overall user satisfaction. However, no significant relationship (Rho = 0.156) was found with the perception of improvement in current administrative processes. It is concluded that the implementation of the digital notary system has a very strong positive correlation with the level of user satisfaction at the university, establishing itself as a key tool for technological transformation.
