Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI)

The use of AI is permitted solely to improve the grammar and style of the manuscript, under human supervision. It must not be used to generate scientific or clinical content. Authors are responsible for the final content.

It is mandatory to include a declaration on the use of AI in the cover letter and in the manuscript, before the References section. It is not necessary to declare basic spell-checking or reference management tools. Failure to comply with this policy will be considered an ethical violation and will be handled in accordance with the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
