Peer Review

Manuscripts first undergo an initial assessment by the editorial team, which checks fit with the journal's scope, compliance with the submission guidelines, and originality through similarity checking, in accordance with the anti-plagiarism policy.

Those that pass this stage undergo double-blind peer review, in which the anonymity of authors and reviewers is preserved, ensuring the impartiality of the process. Each manuscript is evaluated by at least two external peers with expertise in the subject. The decision to accept, request revisions or reject rests with the editorial team, based on the reports received. Reviewers must follow the guidelines in the use of artificial intelligence (AI) policy regarding the use of AI tools during the evaluation process.
