Peer Review — Double Blind

The manuscript will be sent to reviewers under a double-blind modality. The evaluation must be critical, objective, and thorough, focused on the scientific quality of the work. Reviewers have a maximum of 3 weeks to issue their decision.

The possible decisions are:

  • Accepted: The article is suitable for publication without modifications or with minimal corrections.
  • Accepted with minor revisions: The author must make specific corrections as indicated by the reviewers.
  • Accepted with major revisions: Substantial corrections are required; the manuscript will undergo a new round of review.
  • Rejected: The article does not conform to the journal's subject scope, policies, or standards. Resubmission will not be accepted for a period of 6 months.

If reviewers issue conflicting decisions, a third arbitrator will be consulted.

The Editor-in-Chief or responsible Associate Editor makes the final editorial decision, taking into account the reviewers' recommendations. This decision is final and binding.
