Digital Preservation

The Revista científica ciencias de la salud uses the LOCKSS digital preservation system (http://www.lockss.org/) from Stanford University through PKP PN, and additionally the CLOCKSS system (https://clockss.org/), both open source, to permanently preserve access to the digital contents of the publication and share them securely among participating libraries.

Additionally, the operational backup of the OJS platform is the responsibility of the Infrastructure & Services area of Universidad del Pacífico, which performs daily backups with a minimum history of 1 year.
