Preprint policy

The journal accepts manuscripts previously posted as preprints on recognized public servers. Prior posting is not considered duplicate publication and does not affect the evaluation of the manuscript.

Authors must declare the existence of the preprint at the time of submission and provide its DOI or link. They must also ensure that the preprint clearly states that it has not undergone peer review.

Overlap with the preprint declared by the authors themselves is not counted in the similarity index.

Once the article is published, authors are encouraged to update the preprint record with the reference and DOI of the final version.
