Anti-Plagiarism Policy

All submitted manuscripts undergo similarity checking with Strikeplagiarism software before peer review. Manuscripts with a similarity index above 20% or showing signs of duplicate publication are automatically rejected and the author is notified. Overlap with the preprint declared by the authors themselves is excluded from the calculation (see the preprint policy).

When plagiarism or duplicate publication is detected in an already published article, the case is handled in accordance with the COPE flowcharts and the corrections and retractions policy. Other breaches of integrity are handled in accordance with the research integrity policy.
