Ethical aspects in human research

All studies involving human participants must have written authorization from an institutional ethics committee, which must be attached to the manuscript in OJS. Authors must declare in the Methodology and Methods section that procedures were carried out with ethical authorization and informed consent from participants, in compliance with the Declaration of Helsinki and the guidelines of the Council for International Organizations of Medical Sciences (CIOMS).

The author is responsible for protecting the identity of participants in both text and images. If identification is essential for scientific objectives, written and explicit informed consent from the patient, parent, or guardian is required.
